a family owned and operated supplier of outerwear and sportswear
since 1948. The MV Sport division is a leading maker of custom
decorated apparel to college bookstores, resorts, golf shops,
military exchanges, and the advertising specialty industry.
MV Sport/Weatherproof is among the largest marketers of licensed
apparel. The company is the proud holder of hundreds of collegiate
licenses and is a licensee of Minor League Baseball, the US Olympics,
the PGA, USGA and the Ryder Cup.
The company markets two exciting labels: the Weatherproof Garment
Company and MV Sport. The Weatherproof Garment Company is the
number one brand of better men’s outerwear in top department
stores. MV Sport is the company’s line of exciting
sweats, tees, blankets, and athletic apparel.
Weatherproof Garment Company
The Weatherproof Garment Company markets the best-selling line
of men’s outerwear to better department stores. In fact,
recent market research indicates that Weatherproof jackets
were the number one and number two top selling styles in the
market.
Weatherproof’s classic microfiber jacket is the best selling
style in America with millions of units sold over the past
few years. The company’s other top seller is its microsuede
jacket that has look, nap and feel of a genuine skin, but is
machine washable.
The Weatherproof design philosophy is based on teaming leading
edge fabrics with classic body styles. Weatherproof is the
foremost company in the design of microfiber outerwear, including
its
exclusive 5-times sandwashed microfiber, microsuede, micro-oxford,
and micro-shearling fabrics. The company also produces a broad
line of wool, cotton and nylon jackets.
The company recently introduced a womens outerwear
collection that has also been a major success. The line is
based on the same design approach of classic silhouettes made

The Company is an expert at integrating corporate
logos and licensing characters with its top quality
apparel. Its
state- of-the-art decorating facility in its Bay Shore,
NY headquarters includes 7 screen print machines and over 200
embroidery heads. In addition, over
20 graphic artists are on staff to design custom artwork concepts
for client needs.
